Why is it so important for your family to have a professional photoshoot?

Time rushes past so quickly, one moment our children are just newborn babies, and the next moment they are off to university, or leaving home permanently. A family photoshoot can help capture a moment in time, document a particular time in your lives, before things change once again.

For you as the parents, a photoshoot can be a fun day to spend together and a chance to reconnect with your children, spending a few hours away from work and other distractions, enjoying each others company.

For the children, a family photoshoot can be even more important because having a photograph that captures everyone happy and laughing together is not just something beautiful to look back on in the future, to remember a moment in time, yes it is that, but it is also so much more: In times to come, none of us know what may be just around the next corner - when there may be many challenges ahead.

But, having a record or how much you were loved, how proud your parents were of you to book you a photoshoot, the love and emotions captured in that instant that the camera freezes time for you, can remind a child that they have roots, and can help them remember for all time, that they had a very happy childhood, having fun with their siblings, being taken out for a treat with their parents, and that their parents or grandparents loved them beyond measure.

Family portrait photoshoots can take place at an outdoor location, in your home, or at a venue that perhaps means something special to you and your family. Many families I meet like to have their growing family portrait images captured at the place where they first met or where they got married, and often re-book to capture the changes over the years too.
