Kate and Tom were married on a beautiful day, in a pretty, parish church in Britwell Salome in Oxfordshire.

This wedding was at a time before the current restrictions, so friends and family squeezed in to the little church to share the wedding ceremony.
After the ceremony, the newly-weds walked together across the fields from the church to their reception venue which was to be held in an authentic rustic barn on their friend’s farm.
Tom and Kate wanted a varied mix of natural documentary style wedding photography
combined with some traditional group shots as well as a natural style portrait session.
I’m so excited to share a selection of their favourite photographs including their first dance which started off the crazy dancing to a live Ceilidh band
It was a fun-filled fabulous day - the wedding ceremony in the pretty church was warm, bright and a wonderful atmosphere, and the walk in the early evening October light was a special moment for both Tom and Kate as you can see in the photographs.
Kate and her friends only had a few days to turn the authentic farm building in to a warm and vibrant wedding reception venue - there was really not much existing lighting, but Kate had organised plenty of garlands of fairy lights, lanterns, glass orbs, candles and fire pits, which really created such a magical atmosphere - it all looked really fabulous.
We slipped outside just as the sun was setting to capture a few more sunset wedding photos, before capturing a few family groups that Kate and Tom had requested, to make sure they got a photos of those that had travelled a long way or particularly close family or friends.
Kate and Tom started of the evening dancing to the live band - and everybody was keen to join in the fun. The dancing was very fast but we still managed to get some great photos of all the fun.
It was a fabulous day - Tom, Kate and their families and friends were awesome and a really good fun and Oxfordshire is beautiful and I really look forward to capturing more wedding photography in Oxfordshire very soon.
Kate and Tom had an awesome time during their portrait session - it was a quiet time to spend together before the excitement of the day continued with a Ceilidh band in an authentic rustic barn - perfect for a wedding reception.
And when Kate saw her photos, she rang me and said, “Jo you made us look so cool !!! We never expected to look so awesome in our photos! Seriously - we could not be more delighted - we love them all!”
