What’s your idea of the perfect type of wedding?

For Stephen and his lovely new wife, the perfect wedding day was a small micro wedding ceremony at the local registry office, at The Civic Centre in Uxbridge, as soon as weddings were allowed again, with a larger wedding party and big celebrations planned for later on when loved ones are allowed and able to travel here again next year sometime.

A fabulous pre-wedding photography shoot in Oxfordshire

This was such a wonderful pre-wedding photography shoot on a summer’s evening near Oxford:-

In the lovely Oxfordshire countryside, this was an amazing evening a few weeks ago.

It was a glorious warm August afternoon as I drove through the pretty Oxfordshire countryside. I was really excited about this upcoming photography session; we had agreed to meet in the Oxfordshire hills - on a local walking trail nearby and I really love to capture photographs for pre-wedding or engagement shoots either in and around town, or out in the countryside.

It was an honour and a pleasure to spend time with these two very special, beautiful, people; getting to know them better, quietly encouraging them to feel more comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, and capturing lovely, natural and romantic photos for them.

And I simply cannot wait to photograph their post-covid wedding day. Here is a video of the highlights of the afternoon and further down there is a gallery of the photographs to see.
